BURNING INSTRUCTIONS: The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn until the liquid wax covers the entire top of the candle. Not burning your candle until the wax covers the top can cause your candle to bore down the middle. This process ensures a clean and efficient burning cycle throughout the life of the candle. Keep wick trimmed to 1/4". Be sure to trim your wick each time you light it. If you notice black sooting coming from the wick, your wick is too long. Please extinguish your candle, let the wax harden, trim your wick, and then re-light. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning your candle too long will cause the candle to get too hot, allowing for sooting. Always burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets. Keep free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn on a level, fire resistant surface. Stop use when only 1/4" of wax remains.
